The objective of the “More than a Village” project is to test and develop different models of a smart village in the Central Europe region context that will increase the attractiveness of rural areas and create favourable conditions for local businesses. The project will aim to create new jobs, stabilize rural population and strengthen economic resilience of non-urban areas through a set of strategic and operational actions (pilots).
ITC is responsible for managing 6 transnational pilot activities in South Warmia/PL, Burgenlandkreis district/DE, Genoese Apennines/IT, Hajdú-Bihar County/HU, Pomurje/SI, Istria/HR and designing and testing the smart agriculture village pilot implemented in the region of Pomurje/Slovenia.
