Topic: Erasmus+ (KA202 – Strategic Partnerships for vocational education and training)
Timeline: September 2018 – August 2021
Project budget: 446.842,00 EUR
Website: https://www.smartfarming-project.eu
The project has been focused in closing the gap between current farming industry digitization trends and the digital & smart technology era, through the Digital Innovation Hub based facilitation. The project was opening a way to a new digital and technology innovation oriented training method in the farming industry by combining the “Innovation Broker” approach in the farming sector with the current efforts put in place by the EU in the field of “Digital Innovation Hubs”. This new joint training unit has been tackling the above listed needs by providing a digital, open innovation and solution-oriented training and learning approach, with ITC being responsible to transfer the knowledge of facilitation and DIH operation to all respective partners and target groups.
