AGROECOLOGY partnership is a pan-European initiative responding to the urgent need for a sustainable, resilient, and environmentally conscious agriculture sector. The project leverages natural, biological interactions alongside cutting-edge science, technology, and innovation. Living labs serve as real-life testing grounds, expediting the transition towards sustainable, resilient agriculture. Research infrastructures contribute to disseminating agroecological knowledge. By uniting resources, AGROECOLOGY facilitates high-level research, generating technologies aligned with the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda.

ITC’s Role as Slovenia’s representative is pivotal and focuses on two key areas: (1) technical deployment, advancing data collection and data-sharing technologies through DIH AGRIFOOD Data Space, to strengthen the Farm Sustainability Data Network, (2) further developing and integrating Slovenia’s Green Point Living Lab within the Agroecology Living Lab network to foster innovation and collaboration.
