SPOON takes an innovative approach to tackle food insecurity by employing Citizen Science (CS) to empower citizens in creating a more inclusive and sustainable food environment. SPOON bridges the intention-action gap towards healthier and more sustainable diets by placing citizens at the forefront through the conceptual framework of six CS Labs in Europe, coordinated by local partners and utilising a multi-actor approach.
ITC is leading a Citizen Science Lab in Pomurje region, focusing on fostering informed choices based on consumer and other food value chain data.
This project has received funding from the Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No. 101182299.
